I am not a teacher—only a fellow traveler of whom you asked the way. I pointed ahead—ahead of myself as well as of you.

About Jen

My name is Jen Snabel and I am a yoga teacher and massage therapist in London. I offer group and private yoga classes all over London, including Angel and South Wimbledon. My teaching is inspired by vinyasa flow yoga, which synchronises movement with breath.  I also offer restorative classes to ease and soothe the body and mind. I believe in a balanced practice and seek to combine strength and flexibility to find ease. For new mums and mums to be I offer pregnancy and postnatal yoga classes.  See the class page, corporate and private pages for more information depending on what you are looking for.

My personal yoga journey began almost ten years ago when I was initially attracted to yoga for its bendy and flexible persona and as a complement to a daily running schedule.  The more time I spent at class the more I wanted to learn.  I have since immersed myself in the practice, learning through experience and focused study. I left my corporate job behind and am now happy to be sharing my passion for balance and holism with yoga and massage. My journey is proof that, 'there is no set path, just follow your heart'. I am passionate about inspiring others to do the same.

Why Yoga?

I strongly believe that through yoga everyone can find their personal peace and that a regular practice can assist in every aspect of life.  I am keen to pass on my enthusiasm, dedication and love for the practice to others. Through yoga I aim to be the best version of myself, so I can inspire and encourage others to do the same.

The aim of yoga is to create space in the body and space in the mind.  The word yoga means to ‘yoke’ or ‘union.’  Union of mind, body and soul.

Practice and all is coming.
— Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois

The more time you put into yoga the more you will get out of the experience.  You don’t have to feel like you are flexible to practice yoga.  With time, increased flexibility is only one of the benefits you will enjoy.  If you can breathe and have the desire to live a more fulfilled and present life, then yoga is for you.  Take some time for yourself and create space in the body and mind to grow.

Go with the Flow

The concept of Go with the Flow is really a mantra to live by. The journey of life can be turbulent and frustrating. Learning to go with the flow allows us to ride the waves and let go of what we think should be; we learn to accept what is.  The only constant in life in change and it is this change that often causes us heartache and pain. Through the continual practice of yoga we learn tools to help us navigate through the bumps and falls in life. Go with the flow is my personal mantra and it can be yours too. Looking forward to riding the waves with you. Why wait, start today! Book a class or private session to see for yourself.

Namaste!

A journey of a thousand miles, starts with the first step.
