Happy New Year
January is well on the way but I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a very happy 2014! I hope the year brings all you wish and more, including deepening your yoga practice I hope you have your goals set for the year ahead! Intention setting is a wonderful practice to embrace at this time of the year. The start of a new year is the perfect opportunity for new beginings and starting a fresh. Make a note of what really matters to you; writing down our goals and setting our mind towards a focused manageable goal is much more powerful than setting grand new year’s resolutions that don’t make it much beyond the new year. The idea is that you meditate on where you hope to be in ten years time. Where are you? What are you doing? You then ‘trickle back’ to see where you need to be in five years time to reach the ten year you. And then, take it a step closer to the present day to set your one year goals.
